New Avenger screens can also be used on most makes of safety helmets by using the face screen carriers.  These are ideal where a combination of face and full head protection are required.  2 Types of screen carriers are available:  The CA - polycarbonate attachment and the CAM - metal attachment made from aluminium (as picture but with silver finish)..

Screen Types

Polycarbonate:  Polycarbonate screens offer grade 1 (medium energy) impact protection to the wearer and is also suitable for protection against chemical splash and molten metal. These screens are available in 170mm clear, 200mm or 250 mm antiglare.  

Acetate:  Acetate screens offer grade 2 (low energy) impact protection. The screen material is very resistant to attack from chemicals and so is ideal where there is a requirement for protection against chemicals but where there is a lesser risk in terms of impact levels.  

These screens are available in:-

170/200/250 mm in clear or antimist

170/200/250 mm in shade 3 tri-acetate

170/200/250mm shade 5 tri-acetate

Also available bi-clear shade 3 or 5

Heat Resistant:  Gold coated screens are commonly used in foundries and other environments where the combined hazards of radiant heat and glare are experienced.  Available in 200 or 250mm lengths.
